More ways to customize your workspace, folders, and docs

Your Almanac workspace, folders, and docs are now even more customizable with the addition of workspace branding, new folder themes, and drag & drop lists.

Sometimes you don't want to be limited to a bullets- or numbers-only list. We get it. You can now mix and match different types of lists within the same parent list.

Additionally, we've made it easier to reorganize content in your lists. Simply drag and drop to change the order, hierarchy, and indentation of list items, as well as individual list elements (bullets, numbers, etc.).

Personalizing your handbooks and workspace are important to maintaining your brand's look and feel both externally and internally.

You can now theme your company's workspace with either our provided set of default colors, or a custom theme in line with your brand's colors. Navigate to Workspace Settings to configure your sidebar theme and other customizations.

Folders also have brand-new themes to provide you with a wider variety of formatting options. Folder themes are configurable through the Folder Settings menu, and can be different colors from your default workspace branding.

Convert between database and folders

Traditional folder views are helpful for sharing and organizing multiple documents with your team, while databases are optimized for managing a project or process. You can sort, filter, group by customizable properties and create multiple views to track progress and visualize bottlenecks.

We're making the distinction between folders and databases more clear in our UI, so that you always know what you're creating and clicking into. You can convert your folders to databases, and databases to folders, as needed (and as many times as you want!).

Bug Fixes
  • We have made a suite of improvements to ensure commentators, readers, and editors of your documents and folders always only see the menu options and actions that are relevant and available to them.

  • We fixed an issue causing unexpected page redirects and reloads and improved the behavior when a user needs to re-login to the Almanac app.
